We collect and use personal data from our customers only to the extent necessary to provide our services. The collection and use of our customers' personal data only takes place with the customer's consent, which is given by filling out the registration form or making an online booking. Technical cookies are automatically saved when booking online.
We use a GDPR-compliant web app for online teaching and online consultation. This communication platform does not collect or store any personal data or the content of video conferences and chats, does not require any additional account creation and operates on German servers. However, since August 24, 2023, for security reasons, you must register with an existing Google email account. The video conferences are still fully encrypted and therefore secure. However, since participants can use public servers as well as their own, it may happen that the server provider your company uses collects the participants' IP address. In this case, the company is obliged to fulfill data law obligations. In this case, we recommend deactivating the Analytics settings.
Data deletion and storage period
The personal data of the person concerned (first name, last name, postal and email address, if applicable, account details in the case of cancellations or changes to the booking and date of birth in the case of bookings for lessons for minors) will be deleted as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Storage can also take place if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in EU regulations, laws or other regulations to which the person responsible is subject. The data will also be deleted if a storage period prescribed by the standards mentioned expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data to conclude or fulfill a contract.

You can find out about the purposes of processing, categories of data, recipients of the data, planned duration of storage, and the existence of a right to correction or deletion of the data.

You have the right to revoke your data protection declaration of consent at any time. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on the consent before its revocation.

Registration
The student* registers bindingly for a language course using the registration form via the internet portal or by email.
Immediately afterwards, the desired course can be booked via the internet portal or by invoice.
Placement test
Before that, if the student cannot assess their language level, they can take a placement test independently (see template) and send the test to the school by email along with the registration form.
There is also the option of taking an oral assessment. A consultation appointment can be booked for this.
Payment terms
Once the transfer has been received, the student will be offered a place in the course or suggested dates for individual lessons (taking individual time priorities into account) will be made via email. The order in which the transfer is received is crucial. As soon as the invoice has been paid, the course or the booked individual package can no longer be canceled, but can still be given away by the student after consultation with the language school.
The booked group course usually lasts 4 weeks and ends after 4 weeks. It is possible to extend or repeat the course, but it is not free of charge (please see the prices for the individual courses and individual packages in our online shop under “Book a course/lesson”).
The duration of the booked individual packages is limited to 6 months: This means that the booked package should be used up within the next 6 months, otherwise the booked hours will expire.
The invoice must be paid without deductions within 14 days of receipt of the invoice. The purpose of the transfer should include the student's name and the number of the booked course (please find this information in the online shop under "Book course/lessons").
Course start, lesson duration and course
The course starts as soon as the group is determined: The minimum number of participants is 2-4, the maximum is 10-12, depending on the course type.
A teaching unit (UE) lasts 45 minutes.
The lessons take place online (if necessary, face-to-face lessons are also possible for individual lessons after consultation with the language school).
In the event of illness or other unforeseeable cases, the language school reserves the right to cancel lessons, even at short notice. In this case, the missed hours will be made up.
Guarantee of success
It should be noted that our teachers expect active cooperation from the students and otherwise no learning success can be guaranteed. Nevertheless, not only the individual lessons, but also the group lessons are individually tailored to EVERY student, so that progress would be expected. We hope for mutual agreement in this sense.
Right to object
The registration will not be completed automatically if the customer does not send a transfer to the language school account or receive a fully completed registration form by email within 14 days of registration. When booking via the online shop, the booking cannot be assigned if the registration form is missing.
If the student is already taking part in the course, cancellation of the respective course is no longer possible. After consultation with the language school, the student can pass on their place to another person using a voucher. A processing fee of €100 applies.
If the student is absent from the group course that has already been paid for, it is at the student's own risk: This means that the lessons are calculated by the language school and cannot be made up.
If you have booked an individual package, the agreed appointments can be canceled free of charge 36 hours before the start of the lesson without giving reasons. If appointments are canceled later, the lessons that were not canceled or canceled too late will be automatically invoiced and charged at the full price.
